Taking into account the statutory tasks of the Castle as a cultural institution and the protection of Your privacy, personal data of website Users may be processed for the purposes of:

1) performance of the contract concluded with the User for the purchase of a ticket or purchase of souvenirs and/or publications on-line, processed in accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR (“processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract”);

2) enabling participation in cultural, educational and artistic events organized by the Castle, processed in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR (“the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purpose”);

3) providing access to information from our Newsletter, processed in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR by providing the User’s e-mail address.

How long do we store Your personal data

Personal data provided through our website will be stored:

1) in the scope of the contract for the purchase of commodity offered for sale by the Castle:
a) the data contained in the order form will be stored for a period of 3 years, and in the case of issuing an invoice for the User for the full period of 5 years,
b) in the situation of personal collection of the paid commodity at the Castle, the data provided in the e-mail will be stored until the expiry of the limitation period for claims related to the purchase,
c) in the event of withdrawal from the contract and return of the commodity to the Castle, the personal data provided, including the data in the User’s statement, will be stored for the period necessary to fulfill the obligations imposed on the Castle, under the law;

2) within the scope of the contract of participation in cultural, educational and artistic events organized by the Castle by purchasing an on-line ticket:
a) until the end of the event, and after its completion for the period necessary to fulfill the obligations imposed on the Castle, under the law,
b) until the expiry of the limitation period for claims related to the purchase of a ticket;

3) in the scope of data provided on the basis of Your consent, these data will be processed until the consent is withdrawn.

What are your rights related to the processing of personal data

In accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, at any time the User of the website is entitled to:

1) access to Your personal data, rectify, erasure, restriction of processing and transmit data to another controller,

2) withdraw at any time your consent to data processing, however, the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal,

3) lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority, i.e. President of the Data Protection Office.

Your personal data may be transferred to entities cooperating with the Castle in the scope of cultural and educational activities, entities providing us with IT services, entities selling tickets and commodities of the Castle in the on-line payment system and authorized public entities on the basis of relevant legal provisions.

Providing personal data is not a statutory obligation but is a condition for concluding a contract with the User for the purchase of tickets or commodities of the Castle in the on-line system. Failure to provide personal data marked on the order forms with a star as necessary will prevent the implementation of a specific contract. Personal Data may be processed in an automated or partially automated manner, but they will not be used to make a decision that is based solely on automated processing and will not be profiled.
